Chas Guldemond is a strong, seasoned slopestyle competitor and one of the hardest-working riders in the business. Originally from New Hampshire, Chas began snowboarding at age 9 and entered his first contest by age 10. He worked numerous side jobs to pay for snowboarding before he started earning prize money. Chas humbly broke into the professional scene with a 2nd place finish at the US Open in 2006 and had the first backside 1260 on film with Standard Films “Draw The Line” film. Chas then went on to podium just about every major event in snowboarding and established himself as one of the biggest threats in the sport for many years to come.

Guldemond’s goals through snowboarding are “to put a positive impact on the youth, showing them if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish your dreams”. When not mentoring the US rookie squad, he’s busy being a father to his son Rocky whom is nearly 4 and already turning down the mountain like his daddy.

Now slowly transitioning from his Competitive snowboard career. Chas is determined to take the life skills and lessons he has learned throughout to help the next generation. Further educating his passions Chas has become a Certified Personal Trainer though National Academy Of Sports Medicine and has also completed a 15 week trainer education at B Project training facility. He is also actively completing his Maste life coach certification with Transformation Academy.

''Chas took me under his wing when I was 16 and really helped me with the ups and downs of competing. He also taught me tons about eating healthy and training during the offseason. Through the years he has been a great mentor and has definitely made a positive impact on my career''
